Joe is passionate about helping people, organizations and events reach their potential. He worked his way through college in the corporate world. Deciding that the cubicle life wasn't for him, he spent the next 10 years starting companies and growing others. Over the last two years, Joe led One Spark as executive director and COO to become a top-20 event - by attendance - in the United States while expanding to Germany and launching a training academy for entrepreneurs and creatives. He’s produced, marketed and solved revenue challenges for festivals, conferences, corporate functions and community events. This experience led him to found EventReal, where he could support communities and events on an even larger scale.
As an independent art consultant and community organizer, Lisa has advised many local organizations by providing assistance with their program development, marketing, fund development and donor relations, and audience experience including First Night Atlantic Beach, the Beaches Fine Arts Series and its triathlon series, as well as the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville. Currently she is working with SouthEast Group as Director of Marketing and Community Engagement where she is charged with developing an event-based marketing strategy and implementing placemaking initiatives. At EventReal, Lisa is focused on community outreach, development, and helping our clients and partners obliterate their goals.
Karen is an independent art director and illustrator in Jacksonville who works with clients to develop their brand strategy and build an identity that’s fueled by design and illustration. She has worked with a number of national and international clients including: The Washington Post, Nike, McDonald’s, AT&T and Emirates Airline
